Before the World Fell Apart

We used to work 40, 60, 80 hours per week and be okay with it.

We used to ignore our friends and family and be okay with it.

We used to mindlessly read social media posts and be okay with it.

Our voyeurism would reinforce the idea that other people’s lives were more important than our own.

It would lead us to believe that others were experiencing better, more wonderful lives than we were experiencing.

…and then the world as we knew it fell apart.

In the year 2020, we continually realize other things about ourselves.
